Fast and Healthy Dessert Recipies

Dessert is something that everybody loves. However, all too often dessert recipes are not very healthy. Not to mention the fact that some people have to watch eating what everybody can. The good news is that there are lots of different healthy desserts you can try. In this article you'll see a couple of great, healthy recipes that you can try. I. Healthy Dessert 1: Chocolate Yogurt
This easy dessert uses probiotic yogurt, which aids digestion and provides calcium. Organic dairy products contain less contaminants. Chocoholics will love this recipe.*
Serves 1
Ingredients:
- 125g plain organic probiotic yoghurt
- 3 teaspoons cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 6-12 raspberries
Directions:
- Place the probolic yogurt in a small bowl.
- Add the cocoa powder and mix it into the yogurt with a spoon. The yogurt should turn a light brown color. Make sure that all lumps of cocoa powder are blended in, so that the consistency is smooth.
- Swirl the honey on top of the yogurt.
- Arrange the raspberries on top of the dessert.
II. Healthy Dessert 2: Exotic Fruit Salad
This low fat dessert is a great source of vitamins and fiber. It is also highly colorful, with a variety of interesting textures – ideal for when you want to impress guests.*
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 1 mango
- 2 kiwis
- 1 pomegranate
- 1 orange
Directions:
- Peel the kiwis and slice breadthways into circles, then cut the circles in half.
- Peel the mango, then slice the soft fruit into small pieces and discard the seed.
- Cut the pomegranate into quarters and separate the juicy seed casings from the peel and the white pulp membranes using either your fingers or a blunt knife. Discard the peel and the white pulp membranes.
- Peel the orange and separate the segments. Chop each segment into 3 pieces. Discard the peel.
- Combine the fruits in a large bowl and mix.
- Dish the fruit salad into smaller bowls to serve.
